This position requires a seasoned professional who will own and strengthen collaborative bridges across complex and diverse lines of business and customers. The ideal candidate will lead Schneider Electric's strategic relationship with assigned national strategic accounts. They will lead the alignment of strategy, operational plans, the leadership and management of the extended team (account managers, business-unit (BU) sellers, program managers, etc.), plus any external partners and executive sponsors. They will serve as the trusted advisor on strategy, innovation, and disruption to help the customers achieve their desired outcomes.

Seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Business Leader capable and competent in:

  • Developing and maintaining deep strategic relationships with key client decision-makers and C-Suite executives.
  • Grow profitably Schneider Electric's mindshare and wallet share.
  • Obtain internal relationship alignment across diverse and complex lines of business.
  • Orchestrate focused unit of BU sellers, Sales Specialists, Project Managers, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Solution sales comprised of Medium Voltage, Low Voltage Distribution, Motor Control, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Switching (ASCO), Automation, Digital Power, Services and Power Monitoring equipment used to distribute, automate, monitor and control a customer's electrical network.
  • Functionally lead the relevant Account Managers/BU Sellers to profitably grow the sales with a strong emphasis on solutions selling, digital, services and sustainability.
  • Establishes and leads growth strategy for assigned accounts, leads joint account planning.
  • Work with teams of Inside Sales, Quotation Specialists, Project Managers, and Supply Chain to deliver solutions that solve customer needs.
  • Understand strategic priorities of clients and respond with agility, speed, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cultivate client, channel and other external relationships to drive large deals and ecosystem development.
  • Identify and manage the pipeline of opportunities for all segments that the customer covers.
  • Align with project delivery resources to ensure a VIP customer experience, throughout the sales, delivery, and service life cycle.
  • Drive C-Level engagement between SE and the account's key decision makers and position SE strategically as a customer and supplier.
  • Coordinate the relationship between key customer personnel and Schneider Electric senior executives.
  • Grow depth and breadth in relationship at customer and document them in relationship map.
  • Management and interlock of internal stakeholders to ensure right level of support for delivering the strategy and superior customer satisfaction.

Requirements/Attributes
  • 8-12 Years of experience in sales.
  • Preferred experience in electrical distribution or energy management industries
  • Preferred experience with any of the following: low voltage electrical distribution, medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, automation, controls, or energy management technologies.
  • Advanced experience in Solution Selling, Outcome Based Selling, Customer-Centric Selling.
  • Advanced Experience selling through distribution and to trade professionals with emphasis on C-Suite executive relationship building.
  • Strong ability to understand complex requirements, clearly communicate client needs, challenge the client on solutions and close a deal.
  • People management experience with a coaching and collaborative team-oriented leadership style.
  • Proven track record in growing key account business.

What's in it for me?

The U.S. compensation range for this full-time position is $156,000.00-$234,000.00 plus commission for candidates located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
