Head of Offer Marketing

Mission:

The role of Head of Offer Marketing is to drive a culture of operational excellence across all offer marketing in the Transactional Business, throughout all phases of the product lifecycle including introduction, growth, maturity, and decline.

The core focus of the role is to ensure that offer management in Transactional has a culture of business ownership and that local offer managers are commercial and customer facing.

The role should work closely with channel and segment marketing and channel commercial to ensure price and commercial policy are robustly deployed for all offers.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer Strategy - understand and shares Offer Strategy with the global LoB's to adapt and execute it locally. Ensure all offers have a local playbook and operational marketing plan. Work with the offer teams to ensure you influence the LoB roadmaps.
  • Local offer development - where local standards, legislation or practices dictate ensure that working with the global LoBs and local technical/design teams local offers are developed to meet customer needs. Ensure these offers meet all required standards. Work with M&A team to create a pipeline of investment and acquisition targets using an offer up approach and understanding gaps in our offer portfolio.
  • Introduction (launch) - ensure all offers are robustly launched into the market, following appropriate Schneider processes using internal tools to market and deploy the offers. Work closely with sales teams, ensure appropriate training across the business and meet launch forecasts. Capture competitor analysis. Ensure demand generation materials are in place working with the LoB. Stay close to and where appropriate influence local legislative standards.
  • Growth - ensure that all customer groups are covered, and end market application demand generation is in place with the segment teams. Ensure that campaigns are deployed to the core customer channels to drive profitable growth.
  • Maturity - ensure master data is well managed and kept refreshed, focus on portfolio analysis and margin/Delta P during this phase. Run boost campaigns where appropriate. SIOP process to be managed across all phases, but critical here.
  • Decline - follow the appropriate Product Withdrawal Process (PWP) to ensure that offers are taken off the market in a way that is profitable and does not negatively impact customer satisfaction. Ensure master data is well managed. Work with logistics to manage stock risk. Manage the O2 and long tail process through low sales offers.
  • Offer knowledge - master a deep offer and application knowledge, ensuring you can present comfortably at a non-technical level SE offers within the zone.
  • Digital - fully embrace digital tools across the offer marketing community, ensure that every offer utilises appropriate digital tools for offer selection and customer use. Use digital to engage customers, create demand and reduce simple cases.
  • People leadership - create a culture of operational excellence and commercial ownership within the team. Ensure all team members are data driven with digital at their core. Become a net exporter of talent into the wider marketing team, zone team and beyond by coaching and developing the team.
