Head of Brand & Communications

We are hiring for a Head of Brand and Communications who will deliver and perform high-value internal and external communication across the UK&I zone which include supporting the Zone President and VP of Global Marketing & Sales Excellence to define and implement the internal and external communication strategy.

Your focus will be on brand and C-Suite communications to ensure consistent and aligned company story and corporate narrative. Close collaboration with global marketing teams to ensure an alignment with our corporate narrative, as well as the appropriate translation to the local UK&I environment and areas of specialisation.

There will be strong collaboration and support with our Human Resource/Employer Branding teams to drive a culture of dialogue, reinforce people engagement, and promote company's employer value proposition. You will engage with key leaders and stakeholders in business performance, strategy & government relationships, as well as the zone marketing teams to ensure a consistent and comprehensive company narrative supported by an Integrated Marketing Plan (PR, Media Events, Governmental Relationship, social media etc.) to drive brand awareness, thought leadership and share of voice.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnerships: Lead the coordination and relationship with strategic partnerships as their official sustainability partner, ensuring a consistency in customer experience through your Innovation Hub Leader and maximising the opportunity to showcase SE solutions with our partnership locations.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management: This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, capable of managing a team and collaborating with various departments to ensure consistent and effective brand messaging.
  • Internal Communications: Design and implement the Country President/Country General Manager's communication towards employees in scope with the appropriate message channels or events to foster an engaged employee community. Consider the most effective prioritization and channels for communications and the preparation of a crisis communication plan, in special cases, aligned with the corporate process and guidelines. Support country HR initiatives/programs relating to drive a culture of dialogue, reinforce people engagement, and promote company's employer value proposition.
  • External communications: The Head of Brand Communications will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of brand communication, including thought leadership, media relations, social media, content creation, employer branding / value proposition and internal communications. Strengthen the share of voice of Schneider Electric as an impact company and employer of choice.

Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Strong project management & organizational skills; attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Knowledge of the latest communication trends and technologies.
