What will you do?

  • Joining the management team of Process Automation Hardware Center of Excellent you will lead a team of HW resources to work efficiently across multiple project's HW needs. The PA offers are all focused around delivering reliable control systems, spanning DCS to Field Devices to SCADA RTUs. Integration with the various SE stakeholders and peer groups will be essentially to successfully getting the job done.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • An education in a formal R&D track program, hardware such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering, etc. Experience as a direct engineer, as well as experience leading a team of R&D engineers both technically and as resource manager.

Who will you report to?
  • Senior R&D Manager reporting to the Senior Director of PA Hardware CoE R&D.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • 10+ years of engineering experience
  • Experience with change management
  • Formal education bachelor's degree in R&D track domain
  • Experience and success as an individual contributing R&D engineer
  • Experience and success as R&D engineering team manager or tech lead
  • Experience as a technical people manager
  • Experience with implementing and adherence to the formal R&D processes
  • Nice to have experience in Process Automation domain or offers
  • Nice to have experience in depth with Functional Safety, Hazardous Location / Atmospheres, other similar regulated engineering environments.
  • Nice to have experience with Systems Engineering
