Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Analyse simple RFQs (Request For Quotation) and prepare costing as per standard process and tools.
  • Prepare offer documentation consistent with validated data provided by commercial support sales & opportunity team
  • Perform simple risk analysis to mitigate against technical and commercial risk
  • Support Tender Manager with the design product based solutions to meet customer specific requirements and RFQ specifications.
  • Liaise with other departments for day-to- day activities
  • Work with remote teams (via online portals) to support technical configuration of the bid.
  • Provide technical guidance and support on product selection to sales & customers teams.


We look for candidates with the following skillsets:


  • A team work mentality with self-motivation, initiative, flexibility and good time management skills who is prepared to work to strict deadlines.
  • Engineering education in Electrical Distribution.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand Mechanical & Electrical Distribution Drawings to determine the basic Busbar System requirements.
  • Experience in using design software's, in particular AutoCAD 2D/3D and REVIT.
  • Ability to interpret Mechanical and Electrical drawings to allow prepare design layout drawings for Schneider Canalis Busbar systems.
  • An aptitude for onsite work, which will involve liaising with on-site contractors to project manage the delivery and installation of Canalis Busbar Systems.
  • Computer literacy with good knowledge of Office programs (email / word/ excel/ PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
