Description of the Department/Project:

The Spanish Execution Center is responsible for managing projects for Medium and Low Voltage systems, Digital Buildings, Industry Automation, Power Management & Software solutions offering end-to-end solutions from design to operations. Our execution portfolio covers Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas, providing customized, cutting-edge solutions, leveraging the globality and expertise of Schneider Electric.

During the program, you will be able to understand the project life cycle, get technical knowledge and commercial awareness, and work comprehensively on the foundations of Project Management, delivering projects on time and within budget and achieving revenue performance targets.

What will you do?

Tendering - 1 month (count on support of Tendering team for some sessions to present tools, process, etc...)
  • Follow up with the tendering team to understand the concept of how to build and offer (scope) and budget.
  • Review of terms and conditions and how to incorporate them into projects, as well as client requirements.
  • Offer preparation, approval, and release process.


Starting up a Project - 1-2 month (count on support of a buddy from PM team and Contracting)
  • Follow the Customer Project Process, to have contact with project stages, project life cycle, and its requirements & deliverables.
  • Follow up the project handover with the tendering team, capture scope, budget, and schedule
  • Review technical requirements and resource plan.
  • Review contractual terms.
  • Review finance milestones


Technical / Design 1 month (will be followed by a colleague from Technical team to explain the process from a perspective of a TL)
  • Follow up on the design stage and how to deploy drawings, reports, electrical studies, etc... as technical deliveries.
  • Project requirements and technical support for projects
  • How to address and manage technical changes & requirements


Execution 7-9 months (to have follow up with finance and CPO as well)
  • Execution stages and how to track, control and monitor each stage.
  • Support the project by performing tasks alongside a PM to understand and put in practice the routine of project management
  • To perform tasks, support communication and control of tasks delegated by the PM on the different tools designated to the team
  • Get contact with site environment, tasks and routine of the project during delivering, installation and commissioning (support tasks and coordinate with different stakeholders internal and external to get the progress of project on track, ie H&S, Logistic, Supply Chain...)
  • Interact with customer, suppliers and stakeholders as part of project team - getting good foundation for communication skills on Project Management
  • Deal with Opportunity and Risk control on real cases during project ejecution
  • Follow up with the project team when the project is reaching the warranty stage
  • Follow up on the warranty letters as per the contractual terms.
  • Follow up the warranty provisions with the finance team.


What will you learn?
  • Acquire extensive project management knowledge
  • Acquire extensive technical knowledge of Schneider Electric products, equipment, and solutions.
  • Learn the Customer Project Process
  • You will learn to coordinate projects from the different stages and how to apply agile methodologies
  • Learn about contract Management - terms and its applicability
  • Communicate and coordinate communications among key stakeholders in the opportunity, including customers, Schneider entities and factories
  • Will be part of real project environment and will learn how to be Project Manager based on practice, not only concepts.


If you are:
  • Fresh graduate in an engineering discipline, Electrical, Industrial or Energy Engineering
  • Be able to start a 1-year program in May 2025.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  • You have strong leadership skills, including team management and being a team player, have a customer and results orientation, be self-organized with high analytical thinking, and demonstrate continuous self-learning.
