The Global Real Estate's purpose is to deliver the best digital, sustainable, attractive and optimized Real Estate commercial and industrial portfolio and workplaces to enhance employee's engagement and collaboration and show case Schneider Electric values and expertise. In this context, we want to build strong Real Estate capabilities in workplace management, sustainability transformation and ensure our acquired entities are well integrated into global real estate standards.

This role's mission will be to lead globally segments of our real estate value chain to drive performance, compliance and transformation required for the company current and future needs.

Key Areas of Responsibility Include:
  • Workplace management - Our Workplace of Future is an essential element of our employee experience to nurture innovation culture, cross-functional work and reflect our value proposition to work at Schneider Electric (SE). Enrich, deploy and educate our real estate community on SE global workplace policy.
  • Sustainability - In close collaboration with our global and SERE sustainability teams, engage, run and animate global initiatives and overall real estate ambition to convert our portfolio to net zero carbon trajectory and associated components supporting ESG company objectives.
  • Post-Merger Integration (PMI) - Develop and maintain governance and duties on post M&A integration of SE delegated entities, ensure compliance to our real estate trust standards and identify opportunities to consolidate into SE portfolio.


Main activities:
  • Deploy and enrich the global workplace policy across our four pillars (digital and sustainable, inclusive and welcoming, innovative and collaborative, effective and resilient) based on learnings from SE sites, collaboration with other global functions (HR, IT, Digital Buildings, Sustainability, Security, etc) and external benchmark.
  • Ensure proper education and adherence to the policy by having regular communications to our real estate community (and beyond), project reviews and KPIs management (incl. /sqm ratios, internal benchmark etc).
  • Establish and deploy SE global design book, taking inspiration of our company DNA, culture, core values, workplace essentials incl. B2B dimension.
  • Lead overall real estate ambition on sustainability, ensuring close collaboration with corporate sustainability and GSC SERE departments (Impact Horizon 2030).
  • Animate real estate community to develop a true sustainability mindset, from vision purpose to operational toolkit deployment (low carbon design to build, circular economy, energy sobriety, etc)
  • Ensure due diligence support to PMI governance team (acquisition, divestiture).
  • Run Trust Standards audit and ensure compliance of in-scope entities for real estate domain.
  • Work closely with real estate digital team, finance and Post M&A functions to run proper integration of targeted delegated entities and identify early opportunities of consolidation into core SE portfolio ('simplification').

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • +10 years of experience in the real estate industry, with specific focus on construction work segment combined with sustainability exposure
  • Knowledgeable in real estate (MRICS certification or equivalent), certification in Sustainability as a plus.
  • Fluent in english
  • Strategic mindset. Analytical skills. Self-driven. Ethics & Integrity
