You will be joining Schneider Electric's Global Customer Projects Electric's "Global Customer Projects" entity, whose mission is to manage complex, international turnkey projects for our major customers. This entity has application centers specialized by field of activity and geography.

Within the Global Engineering & Expertise department, whose role is to provide a high level of technical expertise for major electrical infrastructure projects, you will join the team of Yannick, Technical Authority Manager. You will join a team of global experts, each specialized in a particular technical field (Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, Inverters, etc.).

Your role:

The Global Referent is responsible for ensuring the right level of technical knowledge for tendering and execution of complex projects in the field of electrical substations (e-house).

The referent coordinates the technical knowledge of all the Engineering Centers of the Global Customer Projects division (located in Bratislava, Cairo, India, Brazil and Australia). He relies on a network of champions in each engineering center.

Your missions :
  • Secure the offer and execution of complex projects: participation in technical reviews and/or specification reviews, specific dimensioning, management of complex technical issues...
  • Manage the technical repository (methods, tools, training), verify and lead their use
  • Manage the technical community (knowledge base, feedback, best practices...): manage, inform, train... and be part of the community of referents
  • Support technical management (propose development plans, evaluate teams, provide training, etc.)
  • Ensure technology watch, incubation of new solutions and development needs
  • Evaluate the technical knowledge of local referents.


Your profile :
  • 5-year degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • At least 10 years' experience in designing complex electrical architectures
  • 5 years' experience in the design of prefabricated electrical substations would be highly appreciated


Your skills :
  • The soft skills of the referent are :
    • Didactic, pedagogue: enjoy transmitting his knowledge
    • Ability to work closely with multicultural team by remote : adaptability & English (C1 level)
    • Leadership : generate trust, take technical decision
    • Customer focus
  • The referent have a high level of knowledge in the engineering of Mechanical & Installation Design:
    • 3D & 2D Modeling and ability to learn new software
    • Layout of electrical substation (MV, LV, TFO, Busduct....)
    • Familiar with local and international standards on escape path, clearances, and material handling requirements
    • Multi-technology integration / installation : HVAC, Fire & Gas, Batteries Room, Digital system, busduct systems
    • Interface management (between different disciplines)
    • Cable trays, Routing cables , Cable penetration
    • Bases on metallic structure calculation, civil engineering calculation, architecture and fire services
