In the frame of Sales Operation & Digital, this role is a global leader of the transformation of the Equipment Quotation process and platform of the Group.

This role defines, improves and deploys the End to End vision of the equipment quotation capability with the objective to bring a premium experience to our customers and Partners and also to bring a competitive advantage to our Front & Middle & Back office with the right Process, right organization and right solution.

Creating an effective Quotation capability is a top priority of SE Group as Quotation is key for our commercial performance and one of the top points to increase satisfaction of our customers and partner.

This initiative and this role is exposed to countries and zone Executives of the group and directly followed by the Opscom.

Key responsibilities:

  • Quotation capability Strategic Vision
    • Deep understanding of our ETO equipment customers and internal team, quotation journeys and their pain points.
    • Meet with key countries and plants to communicate this strategy and objectives, collect feedback and manage the transformation.
  • The Right Organization model, the right processes
    • Define, improve and harmonize the right organization model for ETO equipment quotation.
    • Define, improve and harmonize the equipment quotation processes across countries and plants including set-up of golden rules and minimum mandatory requirements.
  • Deploy a Core Model as per the defined roadmap
    • With entities (plants) develop and oversee process improvement initiatives.
    • Work closely with Platform teams to define the right functionalities and platform supporting the capability leveraging new digital technologies.
    • Identifies performance gaps and launches remedial initiatives accordingly.
    • Resolves conflicts on any process issues that involve cost/quality or other tradeoffs.
    • Find the optimal quotation interaction process with other processes and initiatives (Example: Offer standardization, Sales forecasting, Opportunity Tracking, quote specialist productivity management, partner self -service quoting, front-end Customer experiences etc.
    • Create global simple systems of management and measurement for quotation and its maturity: quote funnel metrics, win rates process tracking metrics, sales/ quote specialist productivity tracking etc,
    • Leads the planning and execution of medium to large projects, which have complex business, political or technical context to be handled, across multiple regions or countries within a cross-functional project team. This includes proactive management of changes, stakeholder expectations, issues and risks to ensure that the project delivers value for the customer.

Skills and attributes:

  • High knowledge of the ETO tendering processes and tools.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of processes within B2B with the ability to connect this to the overall business needs.
  • Possess a broad understanding of the activities and challenges across the ETO business process, with knowledge of quotation activities.
  • Previous operational and/or management experience in ETO quotation (ETO plant tendering manager or similar).
  • Manage functional request with a digital mindset.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken. Other European languages are also welcome.
