We are looking for a talented Global Product Owner (GPO): Corporate Payment Administration who will oversee all aspects of the corporate card/payment program administration, its policies, processes, solutions, customer requirements, service providers, and other payment mechanisms critical to facilitating business travel. This Payment Administration Owner role collaborates with various internal functional such as Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Procurement, IT, Compliance, and the Business Travel Operations Team.

The key focus areas for the GPO Payment Administration will be governance of the corporate cards/payment process standards and global program management, policy enforcement and leading internal and external coordination to deliver a seamless end to end business travel to expense user experience. Under corporate card management, this leader will primarily manage individual T&E corporate and central cards, virtual cards, and various corporate card/payment products used by SE.

What will you do?
  • Is the central global product owner of all Corporate Card and Payment Programs specific to facilitating SE T&E or Global Business Travel.
  • Oversees the day-to-day corporate card vendor working relationships and coordination with third-party travel service providers and vendors on anything specific to payment used for T&E.
  • Ensures business continuity or reliability of T&E payment processes, products and solutions deployed for SE across the world.
  • Administers the Global T&E-Corporate Payment Policy and enforces compliance through effective employee awareness campaigns, policy updates, and implementation of T&E payment processes and automations that would bring ease of use for all employees.
  • Operationalizes payment policy compliance controls and work across functional teams to ensure a seamless end to end business traveler booking experience (i.e., from booking-payment-expense).
  • Function as the Global SPOC and subject matter expert on corporate card payment; providing strategic card/payment program direction and innovation.
  • Leverages data to analyze card/payment program trends, spend patterns, cost savings opportunities and compliance levels. Communicates clearly and adopts data-story telling techniques in their presentations.
  • Collaborates across functions with Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Procurement, Digital/IT, Data, business travel teams and other critical internal departments.
  • Leads and/or partners with Finance/Accounting and/or Treasury on corporate card payment processes, accounts payable and vendor payment terms, risk management and compliance. Work with Finance/Accounting on addressing corporate card accounts reconciliations, account delinquency situations and management of supplier program incentives (when applicable).
  • Leads and/or partners with Procurement on corporate card vendor sourcing, selection, negotiations and contracting.
  • Leads and/or partners with Digital/IT on payment automation and bringing about operational efficiencies and enhanced user experience such as payment centralization or use of virtual cards, when applicable.
  • Champions and leads efforts in cross-process related integration, which would provide seamless end-to-end business travel, payment to expense experiences for all SE travelers.
  • Develops innovative corporate card/payment programs directed toward elevating card product benefits and ease of use for all SE travelers across the world.
  • Stays on top of business travel industry and corporate payment program trends and brings-in leading program practices to advance the SE Global Business Travel Program
  • Proactively manages KPIs of the corporate card and/or travel services vendors and directs vendor efforts to immediately resolve customer services lapses. Ensures improvement and escalation plans are in place to meet contract scope requirements.
  • Manages all traveler information and communication specific to corporate card payments and user information.
  • Leads business presentations and engages with stakeholders; address corporate card and payment requirements of the company.
  • Supports SE businesses and regions on establishing corporate card/payment programs that fit special traveler/employee requirements like the following: executive travel, mobility, recruit, consultants/contractors, group travel, new employees, and onboarding new companies.


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration and/or a related field. MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years' knowledge and professional experience in corporate card administration, accounts payable or a finance-related role
  • Knowledge and/or experience on T&E and business travel, preferably prior job responsibilities with global scope.
  • Proficiency on corporate card payment programs, products and solutions with a global job scope responsibility or work experience.
  • Strong understanding of Business Travel to Expense (T&E) end-to-end processes, technologies, payment methods and expense reimbursement processes.
  • Subject matter level knowledge and/or experience on Finance Operations processes (specific to Payment), T&E Expense Policies, and expense management systems (i.e., Concur SAP).
  • Knowledge of international travel regulations, customs, and currencies.
  • General business management knowledge and/or experience working with the following business functions: Finance/Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, Shared Business Services/Hubs, Risk Management, HR, and IT
  • Effective use of data analysis and business insights that led to card program advancements, user satisfaction and/or cost savings.
  • Elevated level of experience in conflict management and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated achievements on stakeholder management and building positive working relationships, internal or external.
  • High proficiency in Business English communication. Verbal and written. Additional languages a plus
  • Requires work hours flexibility to cover a range of international time zones.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
