Job Description:

Schneider Electric is driving the new frontier to achieve 50b of revenues by 2027. It will be achieved through a growth mindset, a strong capacity to design SE supply Chain and ambitious resilience strategy.

In this matter, SE is looking to hire a person in the Copper market activity to support SE Supply Chain transformation by engaging suppliers more upstream than what used to be done in the past.

The position will report to the Raw Materials Procurement VP.

Responsibilities

Build upstream copper strategy

  • Build upstream copper strategy worldwide according to market intelligence and risk management
  • Engage Long Term Supply Agreement with key actors of the copper industry to secure the supply chain
  • Network and animate internally around upstream copper market (Treasurary for hedging, finance, market intelligence, Regional category managers,...)

Suppliers Partnership
  • Engage and drive the relationship at C-level


Secure the supply and manage performance
  • Secure the supply by revising the strategy and approach with partners
  • Propose a dynamic review of the supplies based on the market conditions (safety stocks, ...)
  • Review the supply chain options to support the resilience and the performance of the group (cash, etc..)

PROFIL:

Education

Master's degree in Supply chain, Management or Engineering...

Experience :
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience
  • Experience / knowledge of copper market mechanisms and players
  • Demonstrated experience in leading functionally teams, animate network and high level of collaboration at multicultural level


Competencies:
  • Capacity to challenge the status quo, manage the change in a complex organization
  • Capacity to work in a multicultural environment with extended stakeholders & interlocutors
  • Strong influence & convince capability for decision alignment
  • Proven team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally & in writing
