Role Mission

About US: The Global Brand Insights team supports SE Marketing by providing data-driven brand insights about customers, partners, and competitors. The team uses various research methods to analyse and monitor Schneider Electric's marketing performance compared to competitors. They also conduct in-depth analysis of customer and competitor behaviour to find valuable insights.

Role Overview: As a Global Brand Insights Analyst, you will analyse and evaluate the performance of our brand across different channels and markets using data analytics tools. Your insights will be crucial for developing strategies to improve brand positioning and drive business growth. You will work with cross-functional teams to interpret data, create reports, and suggest improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, be skilled in data visualization tools, and possess a deep understanding of brand performance metrics

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Insights Generation: Develop deep, strategic insights that lead to better marketing and business decisions. This includes identifying long-term trends and patterns.
  • Advanced Analytics Integration: Employ advanced analytics methodologies such as predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and statistical techniques to provide deeper insights.
  • Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader within the organization on brand performance and consumer behavior insights, advising senior management on potential impacts and strategic actions.
  • Benchmarking: Establish and maintain benchmarking processes to measure brand performance against industry standards and competitors.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the insights provided align with business objectives.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Drive innovation within the team by staying up-to-date with the latest analytical tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Training and Development: Provide training sessions and workshops to other teams on how to interpret data and apply insights to their functions.
  • Project Management: Lead large-scale research projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate resources effectively across various research initiatives to ensure maximum efficiency and impact.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality control process for research outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability of data and insights.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms for greater efficiency.

Qualifications

Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Market Research Analyst) would be an advantage.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in data analysis and insights generation, specifically in a marketing or brand strategy context.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning: Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning models, and statistical software like SAS, SPSS, or similar.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and develop actionable plans that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business and marketing principles, with the ability to align data insights with overall corporate strategy.
  • Advanced Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely to senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and analytical problems is baseline. Creative problem solving, seeing opportunity where others see problems and have an experimental mindset
  • Project Management Skills: Solid project management skills, with a proven ability to lead complex projects and meet deadlines.
