CO Salary Range: USD 96,000.00 - 144,000.00 per year

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $144,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
  • Experience testing web applications - knowledge of best practices and standards including accessibility testing when working with web applications
  • Experience/knowledge about SAAS based applications - understanding of cloud architecture
  • Engage in all stages of the software development ensuring high quality including gathering requirements, case writing, iterative develop-and-test cycles, and final production release.
  • Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, and network environments.
  • Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
  • Reviews software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and completeness to mitigate risks.
  • Manage software's defects and usability identifying, analyzing, and documenting problems with program function, output, online screen, and content.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
  • Update automated test scripts to ensure accuracy.
  • Identifies program deviance from standards and suggests modifications to ensure compliance.
  • Perform testing in conformance with standard software engineering methodologies including Agile Scrum and Continuous Integration.
  • Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
  • Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
  • Help maintain a suite of test scripts for the test automation system that includes Smoke Tests, Build/Release acceptance tests, and performance and scalability tests.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5-7 years of progressive work experience in quality assurance for enterprise or GIS applications.

Must have 5+ years of work experience with:
  1. Reading requirements and translating them into test plans.
  2. Performing manual testing of Windows UI, web service APIs and/or web applications across multiple environments.
  3. Experience writing, running, updating and maintaining automated test cases
  4. Setting up, maintaining, and operating test environments and systems.
  5. Executing performance and load testing for various scenarios including scale, response time, capacity, throughput.
  6. Utilizing ArcGIS, VertiGIS or similar GIS software and its tools.
