General Logistics Operations - Senior Para-Professional

Description / Comments:

Must be able to work flexible hours. Major responsibilities will be to sort and prepare orders and bill truck shipments. Also, candidate will be required to respond to telephonic inquiries; answer/transfer telephone calls; control driver access to building via driver's door; cross train to perform other billing functions including Quote to Cash. Candidate must be able to work in office setting as well as on the floor. In addition, an associate who accepts a move will be expected to remain in the new position for six months. Due to the high level of training and technology involved in this position, if the chosen candidate is unable to adapt to the environment or the technology within the first 60 days in the position, the Company reserves the right to transfer the employee to any open position for which he/she is qualified. The associate must be able to perform at a meets level within 3 months from starting the position.

Education / Experience:

Candidates must demonstrate keyboard skills, exceptional customer service/telephone skills; ability to work with minimal supervision, and cooperate with other office and warehouse associates, perform multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; demonstrated flexibility/desire to work overtime as required; PC experience in word processing and spreadsheet application. Computer skills testing and proficiency is required to be considered a qualified candidate for this position. Employees currently on Written Warning or have other obligations which prevent them from moving, will not be considered.
