For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $64,000 - $96,000 per year and an additional uncapped commission.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Job Summary & Qualifications
This role is an outside service sales position in our branch organization responsible for developing and selling building solutions to end users. This role plays a critical part of evangelizing our Buildings of the Future story, creating solutions to meet our customers' needs through modernization and digitization. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing Schneider Electric customers to identify the scope of work for services including Service Agreements, technology refresh and modernization, remote services, cloud based services, energy efficiency projects, tenant improvements, site expansions, and additional services for Building Automation and Security.
The perfect candidate will have a strong background in building management systems/HVAC controls and/or electronic security (card access, video surveillance, and intrusion) and will have a close familiarity with the construction market and competitive landscape in the local geography. Strong presentation and networking skills are necessary. A close familiarity with smart buildings, integrated building technologies, and the Internet of Things (IoT), along with the knowledge of purchasing processes and influencers within the end user markets are a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
- Act as customers' trusted advisor by developing and implementing consultative sales strategies and tactics for individual accounts.
- Analyze customer needs and develop maintenance and modernization plan options for proposal to customer.
- Prepare sales quotations and proposals, working as necessary with inside sales and other internal teams to determine installation labor and material requirements.
- Utilize Account Management Plan to expand SE offers to current customers.
- Work with Digital Sales team to identify potential service sales opportunities, growing sales within dormant and low volume accounts.
- Process and analyze feasibility assessments and/or all bid/contract documents.
- Perform take-off and estimate costs of prospective service sales opportunities.
- Attend various meetings throughout the project including hand-off and design review.
- Coordinate with ops team to ensure service is executed as it was proposed.
