  • Ensure the compliance with applicable safety and environment legislation.
  • Creates and deploy a safety & environment training plan for the team in a legal entity, acts as a trainer regarding H&S law required trainings.

At a Cluster level :
  • Coordinates and monitors MEE Cluster safety and environment performance and share with the management team,
  • Proposes an annual improvement program taking account of the corporate requirements, accident history, legislative requirements and present plan for review and approval to the management committee,
  • Implements and monitors corrective actions after safety audits, takes part in audits,
  • Ensures that a business continuity/pandemic plan and crisis management plan is in place in line with corporate requirements,
  • Ensures that every employee is included in a safety management system,
  • Sustainability leader - coordinate actions related to climate and resources (energy, electricity...),
  • Plays an active role in the SERE (Safety, Environment and Real Estate) community in Europe. - Joins community meeting and calls,
  • Deploys in sites the Environment, Occupational Health and Safety tools and methods,
  • Promotes and assist management in the development and application of the group Health Policy relevant to protection of all employees (physical, mental and social well-being...),
  • Establishes prevention programs in order to avoid work related accidents and occupational illnesses, and related costs,
  • Anticipates, identifies and eliminates unsafe conditions and/or practices by utilizing corporate programs, processes & procedures and in line with customer and market requirements,
  • Understands and apply laws, regulation to business situations,
  • Reports H&S measures and KPIs required by local Polish H&S law or by corporate.


What profile are we looking for ?

  • Master's Degree in Health&Safety /Management /Energy Management (or at least Bachelor studies),
  • Solid experience in H&S position in an international company,
  • Very good knowledge of Polish H&S local law and H&S standards,
  • Strong communication skills of English used for work,
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Proactive approach with ability to collaborate with different level corporate stakeholders,
  • Practical problem-solving approach and result orientation,
  • Ability for work in a dynamic, matrix subordinate environment with non-routine projects.
