About Quartz Design System
Quartz is an ecosystem that translates Schneider Electric digital standards into ready-to-use assets shared by designers and developers with transparency, efficiency and consistency.
What will be your role?
As a Design System Front-End Developer, you will be integral to developing and maintaining our design system, focusing on creating a consistent and scalable UI framework for various projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the user interface of our platform, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality experience across multiple touchpoints with the highest level of rigor and practice.

You will be responsible for:
Component Development and Documentation
- Develop and refine design system components to ensure they are scalable, reusable, and meet project requirements.
- Document component behavior and set coding standards to maintain consistency and quality.
- Maintain a unified user interface across platforms: Web, iOS, and Android platforms.
Collaboration and Implementation
- Work closely with designers and engineers to align the design system with aesthetic and functional needs.
- Implement advanced frontend features using frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
- Clearly communicate, document, and convey how components should be used to maximize their utility across teams.
Technical Excellence and Culture
- Engage with Scalable Engineering and modern principles of decoupled systems, high ownership, and automated CI/CD/testing/monitoring.
- Integrate accessibility principles into your development practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, user experience, and tooling.
