Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Flow Controller in our Cedar Rapids, IA location

As a Flow Controller at Schneider Electric, you will be responsible for overseeing the flow of materials and information throughout the production process. Your role will involve coordinating and optimizing the flow of resources to ensure efficient operations and meet production targets. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that production schedules are met and that quality standards are maintained.

What do you get to do in this position?

  • Monitor and manage the flow of materials and components throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Analyze workflow processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and production progress.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
  • Implement and enforce safety and quality standards in all operations.
  • Provide support in resolving any production-related issues or delays.
  • Prepare reports on production metrics and flow performance for management review.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software tools.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
