Key Responsibilities :

• Cooling Engineer specializing in Uniflair and APC cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of various Schneider Electric cooling technologies and models.

• The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our cooling infrastructure, in a dynamic environment handling both routine maintenance and emergency situations with equal proficiency.

Responsibilities, skills and experience:

• Licensed HVAC technician

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting -Schneider Electric cooling systems

• Expertise in Uniflair and APC DX cooling models

• Proficiency in chilled water systems and large chiller operations

• In-depth knowledge of Inrow and Inroom cooling solutions

• Strong understanding of HVAC principles and best practices

• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints

• Experience in performing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs

• Familiarity with energy efficiency optimization in cooling systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cooling efficiency

• Stay updated on the latest cooling technologies and industry trends

• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities

• Perform Start-up/Commissioning on all APC-Uniflair equipment across the entire product line on single module and multi-module systems.

• Perform data center assembly services and basic DCIM configuration for cooling integration part

• Document all required information for each site visit performed

• Work with other team members to complete custom and large installation projects

• Educate our customers on basic operation of their equipment.

• Assist Service Partners- Secure Power during the site visits, evaluating technical and professional performance.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to perform duties with general direction, receiving general guidance with respect to overall objectives.

• Must operate within division policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives

• Must comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures

• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.

• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, must be able to communicate effectively to various intellectual levels.

Qualifications & Certifications Required:

• HVAC Technician Certification

• APC & Uniflair Cooling Certification - asset

• Additional relevant certifications in industrial cooling systems are a plus
