Language:- (Portuguese) and English fluent written and spoken

PRINCIPAL DUTIES: -

1. Perform or supervise the following activities on Speed Drives, PLC, HMI, Scada and related equipment for Industry Automation:-
• Assessment for Installation of new system automation and monitoring systems.
• Testing/Commissioning of Speed Drives and PLC.
• Wiring Modifications and Upgrades.
• Supervising and Performing planned Maintenance - From visual too intrusive across Schneider Electric product ranges & software systems.
• Systems testing and fault diagnosis.
• Installation of EcoStruxure systems and required hardware.
2. Provide technical information and assistance for Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure platform:
• Connected: Configuration of electrical measurement and protection equipment.
• Edge: Configuration, commissioning, and support of SCADA platform for electrical control and monitoring.
• Services: Commissioning and connection to Schneider Electric's Advisor platform.
3. Working in a safe environment - Perform site risk assessments and assist in producing method statements or work instructions.
4. Produce test results and detailed site work reports.
5. Contribute to the formulation of offers and quotations for site activities.
6. Contribute to customer training activities.
7. Promote Schneider Electric offers and services, identify and pursue business opportunities.
8. Participate in the OnCall rota system to provide emergency support to our customers 24/7.
9. Supervising personnel onsite which will include members of your own team and sub-contractors or partners.
10. Liaising with project managers for the delivery & completion of customer projects.

CANDIDATE PROFILE :

General Background and Experience

The holder of this job will: -

• Have at least 3 years' experience of installation, commissioning, maintenance & repair of Speed Drives & PLC.
• Have excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge,
• Strong experience on site with Automation/HMI components,
• General software network knowledges (Modbus, IEC61850...)
• Use of communication network structure,
• Basic network troubleshooting,
• Use of network tools to investigate or validate solutions,
• Able to read Network Architectures.

Personal Attributes

The holder of this job will: -

• Be self-motivated and resourceful, flexible with respect to changing tasks and available at the times required to perform them
• Be customer/results focused and demonstrate a 'service' disposition
• Be willing to work at high security customer sites including; Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Military and Offshore locations.
• Be willing to learn similar disciplines on related distribution equipment

Skills and Qualifications:

The holder of this job will: -

• Hold a full driving license and passport
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Have good inter-personal skills
• Be well grounded in the principles & application of electrical safety from the risks associated with live distribution networks.
• Demonstrate appropriate underpinning knowledge in the form of academic qualifications (Associate's degree in computer science/electronics/electricity) or relevant experience.

It is required that the applicant be experienced in the principles of:

• Control Circuit Wiring testing & modification.
• Mechanical/Electrical function testing of Speed Drives
• Complex Industrial Communication Network building,
• Traces analyses and retrieval
• Dedicated communication network expertise

Key Performance Indicators:

The holder of this job will:
• Produce site reports/ test results within 2 working days of completing a contract
• Complete time sheets, expenses on a weekly basis
• Complete Health & Safety documentation on a daily basis whilst in a supervisory role
• Complete Method Statements & Risk assessments within timescales set
• Complete installations & maintenance against agreed timescales
• Identify and pursue services business opportunities.
