Expert PLM Data Operation

Schneider Digital Engineering (DIG) Team is looking for an Expert PLM Data Operation Engineer in the team of DE&TD which is a Schneider transversal department focusing on R&D applications using in the company. The position will closely work with BU, all stakeholders in DE and execute the legacy migration and onboarding project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Understand legacy systems and the data, complexity of business processes etc and prepare a plan for data migration and business users onboarding activity
  • Technically own the migration activity on all technical aspects for large size complex legacy data migration projects
  • Analyze the "as is" process, tools, data and map them with Schneider processes.
  • Create the plan of the migration which includes extractions, transformations, and loading. Review with business and approve for implementation.
  • Define the project scopes and share with vendor for the quote. Review and approve the SOW and kick of the projects with supplier as needed.
  • Execute migrations project based on the BU need. Lead the internal/external team and execute the project.
  • Closely work with business analysts and help them to write the technical stories using Jira.
  • Monitor the progress of technical stories and remove impediments, act as an SME to ensure deliverables,
  • Participate the scrum/project meetings/ceremonies.
  • Solve critical issues and guide the integration and data migration team during execution phase
  • Handle collaboration and communication with supplier/partners for SOW creations/review, Milestone approvals, reviews of the deliverables etc

Skills Requirement •

7 to 12 years of experience in legacy PLM data migration experience
  • Should have good working knowledge on Windchill PDMLInk, ProjectLink, MPMlink, Quality solution, WBM ,Thing Worx
  • Must have experience on data gathering, spec preparations, SOW creations for business requirements.
  • Capable of` translating business requirements and objectives into technology solutions and roadmaps. Capable of developing end to end business solutions.
  • Very strong knowledge on SQL coding and different transformation tool such as Pentaho, infomatica etc
  • Good knowledge on various models of SDLC.
  • Integration Knowledge with upstream and downstream system
  • Should have strong knowledge J2EE , SQL,PLSQL, (different software utilities) and have built management knowledge
  • Understand the product development life cycle requirements to productions.
  • Having good CAD (3D tools such as Creo will be added advantage) • Good domain knowledge on Manufacturing and high-tech industry
  • Excellent communication, analytical and inter-personal skills.
  • Must be a team player and proactive in building initiatives for the team/practice.
  • Must have experience in multicultural environment. Highly organized and able to track multiple tasks/projects.

EDUCATION : • B Tech or M Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other related equivalent Experience 7 - 12 yrs.
