Within the Schneider Electric Industrial Automation business unit, the Customer Satisfaction and Quality Service team analyzes DF automation products returned from the field following customer (TEX) and internal (RFA) requests. We identify the reason why customers are returning their products and write up the technical report with a description of the root cause and improvement/corrective actions and/or recommendations. We alert the responsible functions in order to improve the customer experience (redesign, manufacturing line improvement, more precise mission profile, etc.).
Your role:
Reporting to the Analysis and Data Center Manager (Matteo) you will be the technical expert able to have an in-depth technical understanding of DF automation (PLC) offerings. You will analyze products returned from the field and create technical reports for customers.

Your missions:
- Perform all necessary activities (visual inspection, configuration testing, manufacturing testing, testing with R&D tools, signal measurements, ...) to identify the problem and the root cause of the product.
- Provide a complete, documented report including test explanation, photos, conclusions and recommendations
- Take all necessary action when a quality problem is identified, providing all necessary information and with the appropriate level of urgency.
- Raise manufacturing or design alerts and ensure they are addressed.
- Challenge and contribute to the resolution of the problem (additional testing, participation in manufacturing quality review or BOC (board of change)/project review).
- Suggest quality improvements (design robustness, documentation).
Your profile:
3 years' higher education in electronics with at least 5 years' experience either in design and development (R&D) and/or testing coupled with repair of industrial PLCs.
Your competences:
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, ethernet, etc.)
- Knowledge of automation (ladder language, FBD function block language, etc.), firmware/software and software programming tools for automation.
- Writing skills
- Ability to alert and react effectively with different departments
- Ability to communicate, convince and make proposals
- A good level of written and spoken English to write and collaborate with our teams and customers
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Rigor, organization and perseverance
