Description of the position:

The Experience Marketing Technical Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of events including 3 rd party, owned and internal events with a specific focus on showcases and other technical installations. We operate under the philosophy that people will forget what you said, and people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. The core responsibility will be to ensure that a positive experience and brand association is created in our experiential touch points and tactics.

As a key role in the Global Marketing organization and the Experience Marketing team, you will interact with and manage, in collaboration with the overall project manager, all stakeholder relationships, including but not limited to logistics, flow planning, creative co-creation, venue selection, product expo/demo, AV and other conference management, stage management, security, networking, live steaming, vendor management, content management, and budget management.

In addition, you will also contribute to transversal projects related to Experience Marketing and/or provide coaching to countries/businesses teams organizing similar events.

Your IMPACT:
  • Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal through delivery, including budget management responsibility
  • Delivering events on time and within budget to ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery
  • Setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Developing and managing relationships to clients and suppliers
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure that technical and other aspects of the projects are delivered efficiently
  • Anticipating risks and proposing alternative solutions
  • Ability to work under pressure and with a high degree of independence
  • Travelling to on-site inspections and project managing events, for technical parts and/or overall on a case-by-case basis
  • Liaison between production staff and technical staff (internal or external) for all live events.
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently .

Your Profile:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience from Schneider Electric and or related companies
  • Master degree/Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, event engineering or comparable
  • Experience from execution of events (multi-project management, tradeshow and/or conference experience) (required)
  • Multi-project management experience, strong organizational skills and ability to top-perform under high pressure
  • Technical affinity: installation and operation of audiovisual equipment, demo stands, technical networking, computer-related systems skill
  • Customer centric attitude and way of working
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution with strong attention to detail
  • Stakeholder management experience, including executive management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and productivity tools (Teams, Planner)
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • English proficiency (additional language desirable, such as German or French)
  • Curious about, and able to adopt, new technologies for both digital and in-person events (showcases, audiovisual solutions, etc.)
