Member of Iberias Technical Team of Execution iHUB department, the Technical Project Leader is responsible for leads a team of Customer Project Technical Senior Technicians and Engineers. Leads design and implementation of all the technical parts of an integrated customer project. May also perform technical operational activities in some specific technical areas. Manages technical risks and interfaces between the project team stakeholders and the customer and manage final customer approval of the technical solution designed and delivered in Automation and Control Areas.

Project Types: Automation and Control, Building Management Systems software, Site Teams Coordination

Experience in Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs), Building Management Systems software, Electrical Control Cabinets, Programming Languages, design, validation, and commissioning to provide the solution to the customer, meeting the customer projects specifications.

Main responsibilities of the position

  • It provides and specifies the technical solution according to the customer's requirements in relation to the offer.
  • He validates the technical choices and technical solutions supporting to quoting phase and throughout the project and compliance of the final solution, according to Schneider solutions in Automation and Control areas scope.
  • Review technical documentation to optimize the solution and assure the customer requirement compliance.
  • He directly controls the technical people consisting of design, purchases, installation and commissioning teams (internal or external, in Iberia or abroad), as a Site Manager.
  • He provides the necessary reporting to the Project Manager (PM) and / or instances of the Project.
  • Collaborate on request with purchasing department, providing the best technical solution to create and validate the technical offer before sending it to the customer.
  • Implement and share all Critical Applications from "Product information" platform to update the Iberian Hub - iHUB Automation and Control Solutions.
  • As an interlocutor with the subcontractors during the execution of the project and follow-up of the subcontractors in terms of assembly validation.
  • Drive stakeholders' technical relationship and proactively communicate (Provide and support technical solutions and specifications compliance).
  • He participates proactively in the follow-up projects meeting, with different stakeholders, to manage the project plan, the project teams on site, the project resources, accordingly with the project/customer expectations.


Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of seven (5) years' experience in products and systems of Automation and Control Areas.
  • Experience in projects execution with equipment's of Automation and Control Areas.
  • High knowledge in Schneider PLCs and yours programming languages (Modicon M580 - ePac, Modicon M340, Modicon M221, Modicon M241 and Modicon M251)
  • High knowledge in Schneider and Aveva software's and yours programming languages like EcoStruxure™ Control Expert (Unity Pro), EcoStruxure Machine Expert (SoMachine), EcoStruxure™ Building Operation Software (EBO), EcoStruxure™ Power Operation, AVEVA™ System Platform (SI)
  • Knowledge and experience in industrial equipment's for communications (Modicon Networking, Hirschmann Networking, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience in industrial protocol communications (Modbus, Profibus, IEC61850, etc.).
  • Knowledge in Cibersecurity standards and network designs.
  • Knowledge and experience in Electrical Control Cabinets design.
  • Experience in Team coordination (internal and external) during all project seps (design, development, FAT, SAT, Commissioning, etc.)
  • Experience in different Team coordination on site, as a Site Manager

  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP).
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Be able to speak and write English.
  • Availability to work on all Iberia area (Spain and Portugal, including islands).
  • Possibility of traveling outside the Iberian area (Europe, Middle East, Africa, etc.).
