Europe Ops Strategy Director

In this position, we are looking for a tech and strategy savvy, digitally oriented Strategy Director, who will work closely with the EVP & leadership Team of Europe Ops to accelerate progress toward the company's growth strategy.

This position provides in depth analysis, coordination, guidance and support on key projects related to a wide range of business issues thar require the collaboration of business units, functional areas, segments and geographies for successful change management, ensuring that EO leadership team members are aligned and working effectively to prioritize and manage adherence to KPIs.

This position will foster collaboration and accountability across teams, facilitate strategic thinking, planning and execution, and develop management systems and procedures.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic and change management projects,
  • Develop and evaluate business models, go-to-market tactics (technologically, commercially & financially, incl. risk & mitigation)
  • Identify cross-country business trends and pioneer business opportunities by initiating, developing and following through pilot projects
  • Provide EVP and management team with information and deliverables on projects to increase productivity and effectiveness, ensure action items and deliverables are identified and tracked
  • Leverage technology to align and share information; has the aptitude to take complex projects and apply technical solutions that enable data sharing and ease decision making
  • Align communication, people, processes, resources and systems to ensure effective implementation and delivery of required results
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; address matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion
  • Keep a pulse on the organizational wide initiatives and connect the dots cross-functionally with managing actions and results
  • Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Other duties as assigned


Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or related field.

Master's degree is preferred.

Experience:

At least 10 years progressive management experience required with a background spanning the following areas: Product Management, Technical Sales, Business Development, Management Consulting, Corporate / Divisional Strategic Planning, Business Development, Product Management, Energy or Industrial project management or Marketing or finance. Must have proven track record of effectively interacting with senior/executive level management.

Competencies:

Should have a good understanding of digital: trends, social media, sharing platforms: mobile, web, cloud.

Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills

Strong technical background in Energy or Industrial fields, project management, business, finance and analytical skills.

Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure or in ambiguous environments.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement tactical plan to support desired outcome.

Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority to drive critical results at various levels.

Self-motivated, willingness to own issues and results/ action-oriented.

High personal integrity, ethical and professional conduct, ability to develop trust.

Ability to work and influence across cultures.
