Engineering Supervisor provides engineering support to projects and oversees the daily operation of a group of project application engineers. May act a lead engineer for moderate risk and complexity projects. Has direct responsibility of management of a team of project application engineers

• Delegates tasks to Project Application Engineers to complete and monitors quality of team's deliverables• Reviews Project Application Engineers' work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Serves as a mentor to Project Application Engineers, providing opportunities to develop technical competence
• In line with Engineering Excellence Center strategy, long and short term demands, define and execute competency development plan for subordinates
• Maintain and develop essential technical and non technical competencies of the group
• Ensure the balanced workload of the engineers reporting to him/her
• Has responsibility for performance management of an assigned team
• Performs administrative duties as the line manager of the direct reports
• Maintains high engagement level and motivation of the team
• Interprets customer technical specifications and assists customer in defining detailed application, system, and hardware requirements
• Monitors and controls work packages created by Application Engineers

• Works with third-party vendors to ensure compatibility with Schneider Electric's solution
• Coordinates and/or participates in on-site engineering, start-up and application commissioning
• May provide technical leadership in customer acceptance and application testing, including defining the requirements and supervising installation and wiring of all testing equipment
• Interfaces with EEC resources to ensure high-quality and accurate deliverables
• Anticipates potential changes in project deliverables and timing and makes the Lead Engineer aware of a potential need to re-contract or secure additional engineering resources
• Identifies risk factors on various applications and makes the Project Manager and Lead Engineer aware of possible challenges and potential solutions
• Supports Project Managers and Sales in developing detailed engineering estimates for potential applications projects
• Prepare engineering estimates for projects of moderate complexity and risk;
• Contribute to long and short term engineering resource planning of the Engineering Excellence Center;
• In cooperation with other stakeholders of the organization, resolve staffing issues to support project delivery;
• Foster the use of latest internal and external engineering tools to optimize the engineering efforts on projects and increase competitiveness;
• Through the means of control and assurance, ensure the excellent quality of project deliverables;
• Through the proper and timely communication with the internal and external customers, contribute to the achievement of customer satisfaction targets;
• Ensure that the Schneider Electric's corporate and local regulations and industry standards are followed;
• Identify, - if possible - eliminate and report without delay any issues or nonconformance to health and safety regulations;
• Identify, report and - if possible - eliminate risks related to cybersecurity and non-conformity to cybersecurity internal regulations
• Might be assigned to manage certain Internal or group of Internal Customer relations
• Any other task requested by manager related to the job scope.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Relevant Experience 7+ yea rs

Education Technical University Bachelor's/Master's/Doctor's degree in electrical engineering, IT, applied informatics or automation

Other Required Competencies
• Confirmed experience in Automation industry and/or related engineering experience in disciplines such as process, chemical, mechanical, industrial, and/or electrical engineering with end-users and/or EPCs;
• Experience working as part of a team in a project environment;
• Interest in learning new technologies,
• High level of work ethics, proactive approach and flexibility;
• Customer approach, team spirit and excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Fluent level of written and spoken English;
• Valid driving license (Category B);
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
• Good manner in conflict management and resolution

Desirable Competencies
• Finance literacy
• Project Management experience
PC software OS Windows, OS Unix/Linux, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Access, One of SQL database, One of CAD Programming Theoretical knowledge of structured and object oriented programming techniques; Intermediate level of skills of one of programming languages (VB, C#, C++, Java, etc.)

Database technology Good knowledge of database technology (e.g. MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or Informix);

Control software PLC (Triconex, Unity Pro..), DCS (Foxboro, ...)

Control system HW PLC (Tricon, Modicon...), DCS (Foxboro...)

Process control Theory of automation; Practice in Control loop stability and tuning;
