Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced candidate with a similar background to an " Electronics Engineering Manager " to lead our electrical and electronic engineering team. This role will be responsible for overseeing both analog and digital engineering projects, ensuring high-quality design and industrialization of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics engineering, with a focus on competency development, component selection, and engineering tools and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive competency development initiatives to enhance the team's technical skills and knowledge.
  • Design and Development: Oversee the selection and design of electronic components, ensuring that designs meet performance specifications, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Manage the development of bill of materials (BOM) for new products.
  • PCB Layout and Design Quality: Ensure high standards in PCB layout and design quality, conducting reviews and assessments to confirm that designs meet industry standards and best practices.
  • PCBA Industrialization: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to facilitate the industrialization of PCBAs, ensuring smooth transitions from design to production and addressing any design for manufacturability (DFM) issues.
  • Engineering Tools and Systems: Implement and maintain engineering tools and systems that enhance design processes, improve efficiency, and ensure accurate documentation and traceability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product management, quality assurance, and supply chain, to align engineering efforts with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives aimed at improving design processes, reducing time-to-market, and enhancing product quality through data analysis and feedback.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in electronics engineering, with a strong background in both analog and digital design.
  • Experience in managing engineering teams and developing engineering competencies.
  • Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Cadence) and engineering simulation tools.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to PCB assembly and testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.'
