The Electronic Components Engineer Defines, Deploys and Support the Schneider Electric component use Strategy for Power Management Electronics
This role develops standardization campaigns with Product Owners, Procurement, and Internal Innovation Teams; In addition, provides technical consulting & training service to the different Line of Business and Manufacturing Plants.
To assure this success the TSM Standardization Engineer needs to continuously monitor the Market Trends (Technology and Vendors), The Schneider Electric applications needs, while animating a Technical Network.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Global Technology Standardization Definition & Deployment
- Market Monitor & Technology Road Maps
- Support Design Projects on
- Component & Technology Need Definition and Selection
- Risk Management
- Failure Analysis
- Alternate Sourcing (Shortages, Productive, Multisource, Quality, ...)
- New Technology Introduction in collaboration with internal Expertise Lab.
- Make Decisions under Critical Situations... Shortages, Projects / Plants Blockages, Quality Issues...
- Technical Trainings & Seminars by self or in collaboration with Key Suppliers
- Development & Maintenance of a Global Technical Library of Policies and Guidelines.
- Creation of Standard Components In alignment with Technology Standardization.
- Development & Animation of Technical Networks
- Effective Global Collaboration

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE), or related engineering/technical discipline.
- Preferred Master's /Graduate Degree in Power Electronics Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in product design and/or technology groups
- Familiarity with Major Suppliers in the Electronics,
- Project Management Skills (Waterfall & Agile)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in large multicultural teams in different time zones.
- Assertive communication & negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Self Sufficient, Detail Oriented, Curious
- Proficient English Mandatory
- Data Analytics
