What do you get to do in this position?
    • Produces / reviews technical specifications, guarantees product performance and robustness, accountable for engineering quality and contributes to cost targets, prepares engineering deliverables and interacts with cross-functional teams to deliver end to end products.
    • Takes responsibility for management of a small electromechanics dedicated technical team and technology, as part of the new product project and/or product design.
    • Fulfill technical missions, with autonomy to propose/develop complex solutions in a technical domain.
    • Leads the different technologies for the development of new offers or the evolution of existing offers.
    • Takes responsibility for project planning, delivering on time and cost while ensuring policies and procedures are rigorously followed.

This job might be for you if:

  • 8 or more years of experience in product development. Designing electromechanical products or in the energy management industry.
  • Engineering degree.
  • Proficiency in creation of FMEA, FTA, DfS&R, DFM, Risk Analysis, V&V, Tolerance stack analysis and GD&T.
  • Understanding of policies and regulations applicable to electromechanical products or the energy management industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, CREO is preferred.
  • Strong and diverse knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials properties for development of sheet metal parts, dielectric and conductive parts and plastic parts.
  • Fluency in business and technical conversational English, great communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in new product development gates processes, Agile (Scrum & Kanban) design processes desired.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment, negotiate and generate agreements.
  • Team and customer oriented, adaptable, committed to meeting challenging project schedules, multi-project management.
  • Critical thinking and Six Sigma problem solving proficiency.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property significance and impact.
  • Experience in coaching engineering professionals.
