- Primary responsibilities related to continuous engineering support and new product development or product transfer projects.
- Develops parametric models and drawings of electro-mechanical equipment, according to design intent and Schneider Electric best practices.
- Identifies and manages technical risks (i.e. DFMEA, Part Criticality, FTA).
- Performs tolerance analysis and functional prototypes to ensure the adequate performance, assembly, and quality of the product.
- Lead and develop the definition of the verification and validation process according to the country's regulations and standards.
- Prepares complex and/or new solutions based on project scope and strategy.
- Close collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Marketing to complete projects on time, budget, quality, and safety.
- Manages and controls product files and documentation.

Technical Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in R&D of electromechanical products.
- Advanced english level
- Proficient in CREO, PDM, WINDCHILL and Microsoft tools
- Knowledge of thermal and electromagnetic Management on Electrical Products is a plus.
- Knowledge of Mechanical functions on Electrical Products.
- Knows the typical customer application and the products involved.
- Material selection for electrical and mechanical applications, material comparisons.
- Understands the geographical context and constraints for the product catalog.
- Understanding various international product standards such as UL, CA, CSA, NOM, ANSI, NEC, and IEC. Specifics on Electrical products is a plus.
