About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Specialist to join our Cooling Sustaining Engineering Team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with electrical design tools, analyzing and interpreting technical drawings, and supporting the development and assembly of electrical panels and cooling units. This position is ideal for a professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs and assemblies meet the highest standards, delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Solve field issues ("Warm Loop"), support product innovation, and manage obsolescence ("Cold Loop").
  • Electrical Design Tools Expertise: Utilize tools like EPLAN, IDEA, or equivalent software for electrical design and drafting.
  • Technical Documentation Analysis: Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and company rocedures with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Component Knowledge: Work with industrial electrical components and ensure their proper integration into designs.
  • System Understanding: Demonstrate a solid understanding of cooling and air conditioning unit operations.
  • Wiring and Assembly: Apply knowledge of cabling and electrical panel assembly techniques to deliver high-quality results.
  • Mechanical Processes: Understand and support basic mechanical assembly processes when required.
  • Travel: Availability for national and international travel to support design and service activities.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Technical Expertise: Proven knowledge of electrical design tools such as EPLAN, IDEA, or equivalent. (preferred)
  • Schematic and Drawing Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and drawings.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial electrical components and the principles of cooling systems (preferred).
  • Assembly Experience: Understanding of wiring and assembly processes for electrical panels and mechanical systems.
  • Quality Focus: Strong attention to product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in proposing product improvements and addressing challenges with flexibility and reliability.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with a problem-solving mindset and adaptability.
  • Languages: Basic knowledge of English is preferred.


Requirements:
  • Technical Background: A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with EPLAN, IDEA, or other relevant tools.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple departments.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to adapt to changes, ensure timely interventions, and support team objectives
