Business Partnership Behavior
• As a representative from IT team, business partner serves the business cybersecurity priority support and deliver digitalization needs covering cybersecurity considerations.
• Build and develop relationship key leaders and business stakeholders
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align business/digital ambitions and priorities with cybersecurity action
• Pro-actively maintain communication channels with key stakeholders
• Identify key business teams/stakeholders & seek for a nominee to formal & regular interactions
• Manage cybersecurity aspect to digitalization needs, operation, project delivery, escalated issues about business application.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Work with Local IT Operations and CISO organization to Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.
• Protects system by ensuring the compliance of Schneider Electric Cybersecurity Governance on access privileges, control structures, and resources.
• Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities, reporting violations.
• Recommend security improvements by assessing local current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Work with Local IT Operations to determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.
• Work as a Team member in the upgrade, deployment and maintaining security controls.
• Proactively communicate to users communities informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status.
• Support local EiT team, CISO, local DPO and business leaders in ensuring quality service by following organization standards.
• Support local EiT team, CISO, local DPO and business leaders in evangelizing best practices in cybersecurity to local business and customers communities
• Be a trusted partner for the local business leaders as local cybersecurity expert.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
• Identify cybersecurity risks/areas of improvement & initiate EIT demand or support process; be involve in the demand process
• Stay up to date with ongoing & new EIT initiatives & programs and implication with Cybersecurity posture
• Share/communicate with business in various forums & interactions
• Network with industry peers and understand and be aware of best digital practices
Cybersecurity Role and Responsibilities
• Working closely with the APAC CISO and team, be a visible point of contact in Japan for all cybersecurity internal and external matters,
• Escalate all Governance, Risk and Compliance matters for Japan to the Cybersecurity Zone Officer and help execute the strategy and tactics to ensure SE Japan compliance with global policies, standards, and guidelines across all practice areas,
• Participate in internal cybersecurity engagement with SE Japan leadership (Country President + N-1's) to ensure awareness of SE Japan's cybersecurity performance,
- Challenge internal organizations and enhance our IT and OT cybersecurity posture (people, process, and tools),
- If appropriate, support and help animate a cybersecurity ecosystem program consisting of Schneider Electric's subsidiary companies,
- Ensure Cybersecurity is taken as a key topic within Schneider Electric for the benefit of our customers,
- Working closely with the APAC Cybersecurity Engagement supervisor and in close partnership with SE Japan's BU's, lead the cybersecurity external engagement program for CISO2CISO cybersecurity engagement strategy and execution,
• Help build and maintain communication materials and peripherals supporting the engagement program (by assisting and supervising the creation of white papers & presentations. Arranging, and scheduling internal and external podcasts, panel discussions, webinars, town halls, conference speaking engagements).
- • Assist where necessary with creating and maintaining a library of communication resources (PowerPoint/talking points/recordings/visuals, etc.) and maintaining the APAC engagement sharepoint portal
- Working closely with the APAC Cybersecurity Engagement supervisor, lead the Vendor CISO2CISO external engagements,
• Working closely with the Global Cybersecurity Awareness program team, execute the global cybersecurity awareness actions in Japan, ensuring localization of content (translation and edits as appropriate for the mission) to raise awareness,
• Working closely with the APAC Digital Policy Director, engage with National Authorities in Japan to enable SE's position as a trusted industrial partner in matters of cybersecurity national policy,
• Working closely with the Global Install Base program director and team, help engage end users, ISPs and National Authorities to notify them of detected vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in Japan, with the objective of reducing detected SE Japan's install base vulnerabilities and detections to always be at zero.
Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Engineering/Science is strongly recommended. A Master's degree such as an MSc or MBA would be better,
- ITIL knowledge
• Proactive communication with stakeholder
• Strong business partnering abilities: proactive, knowledgeable, courageous and keep pace with cybersecurity, data security and any technology security development and evolution,
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills. Detail-oriented, able to plan and manage the departmental engagement schedule,
- Ability to create professional materials (presentations, talking points etc.) in support of the engagement topic,
- Preferably at least one certification as a Certified Information Security Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) or equivalent years of demonstrable experience in a Cybersecurity Governance or Cybersecurity leadership role,
- Experience with projects in an international manufacturing environment is preferable,
- Familiarity with ICS/OT/IoT cybersecurity concepts,
- Professional/Business level fluency in English is preferred and
- Professional/Business level fluency in Japanese is mandatory, strong communication skills at a managerial level,
- Ability to demonstrate professional appearance and behavior when engaging with Senior level internal and external stakeholders is mandatory,
- Familiarity with security standards: ISO7001, NIST, IEC 62443.
• Familiarity with Japan National Cybersecurity law, relevant National Authority organizational structure and points of contact.
