What will you do?

  • Assume the role of Master Production Plan (MPP) leader within the factory.
  • Manage communications with project managers and service offices for customer orders, including escalations.
  • Oversee activities and ensure necessary resources for production planning (short-term), database management, manufacturing capacity, and material flow.
  • Maintain methods and practices to ensure the most effective communication between planning and production teams. This may include creating new policies/procedures.
    Ensure that resources are utilized optimally to achieve short-term and long-term objectives and manage priorities.
  • Provide periodic reports to management.
  • Track delivery delays with internal customers and backlog activity.
  • Participate in regular meetings with various other functions of the manufacturing team.
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing to provide Lean, value-added solutions for material flow.

What skills and abilities will enable you to succeed?
  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in engineering, supply chain management, or business administration with a focus on supply chain is an asset.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in supply chain management in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Proficiency in computer use and advanced knowledge of applications (Access, Excel).
  • Bilingual (intermediate French and English) to collaborate with our suppliers, customers, and partners at the provincial and international levels.
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively, with strong decision-making skills.
  • Experience in conflict management and resolution.
