Position Summary
- You will architect and design high-performance, scalable, and reliable software and firmware systems
- Define interface definitions, data models, and integration strategies for various software and firmware platforms
Roles & Responsibilities
- Meet project deliverables and deadlines which align with DevOps practices, security principles and risk management
- Participate in Voice of Customer sessions to ensure delivery of optimized, user-centric solutions
- Provide technical leadership including driving development of multiple engineers, mentoring the engineering team, collaborate with cross functional teams on development, roadmaps, and strategy
- Contribute to the team's continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues
- Oversee project scoping and scheduling; tracks progress of individual tasks and alerts stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of task
- Identity and mitigate technical risks or issues that arise during project execution
- Monitor quality of team deliverables and ensure they meet Schneider Electric standards
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical documentation, status reports, risk management logs, and post-project evaluations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle
- Complete additional responsibilities as required by the business and team

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree /master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent field
- At least 8 + years of extensive development and architecture experience
- Significant experience with creating and working with embedded architectures
- Experience in leading and delivering end-to-end software development projects
- Strong understanding of software security and data protection
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing branching strategies for complex software projects within Git/Github (or similar version control systems)
- Experience optimizing repository structures, manage merge conflicts and implement effective workflows
- Strong understanding of VCS best practices including code review process, integration in CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring code quality through VCS related tools

- At least 10+ years of extensive development and architecture experience
- Experience working autonomously with multi-disciplinary teams located around the world
- Experience creating a strong team environment across a large set of separate agile teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated expertise in collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies, automate processes, and deliver software solutions that support and drive digital transformation objectives
