DevOps Solution overview:
- A core backend system, common to all customers, data-oriented, and primarily developed in C#.
- A data visualization frontend module utilizing the latest technologies, including native desktop applications in C# and web applications in React.
- Various connectors that integrate customer systems into our information infrastructure, developed based on specific customer requirements by the support and development teams.
- SaaS instances hosted on Azure, along with several on-premises instances, ensuring the solution is fully portable.
- A security-critical system that supports utility infrastructure.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining infrastructure and pipelines for our digital grid applications. Your expertise in GitHub Actions, containers, and operations automation will be vital in designing efficient and scalable DevOps systems. You will work closely with developers, data engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions in a large-scale organization that supports hundreds of developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop infrastructure as code, primarily for on-premises environments.
- Automate manual DevOps tasks to enhance efficiency.
- Document infrastructure processes and pipelines thoroughly.
- Optimize system performance and scalability for large-scale CI applications and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, proposing effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps.
- Continuously improve software engineering practices and development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Git version control and GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Python and other scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Podman, Nomad, or Kubernetes.
- Experience with Linux distributions (Debian/RHEL).
- Knowledge of vault services (HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk Conjur).
- Understanding of Google SLSA framework.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with databases like MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, and other providers is advantageous.
