Primary Function:
Schneider Electric Power Products division is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic application Decarbonization expert Power train to lead sustainability innovation across the Power train at architecture level . Working as part of Power product Sustainability office and Electra team, this person will support the decarbonization of upstream and downstream scope 3 emissions reduction roadmap for the portfolio at switchboard level and at Architecture level.
Working in close collaboration with the lines of business and Global teams, this individual will accelerate the agenda to reduce environmental impact and promote resource preservation at Architecture level for full power train while exploring New Energy landscape and promoting Saved and avoided architecture

Main Responsibilities include:

1. Be one of the group's leading experts on Carbon calculation on an applicative/architecture level
2. Work closely with business division and corporate sustainability teams to coach and upskill our community of Application and Architect experts on the tracking, reporting, and forecast carbon emissions data associated with Schneider Electric solutions as experienced by our customers.
3. Manage and support initiatives, stakeholders, and governance at multiple levels to expand, automate, and digitize data and tools related to the carbon footprint of Schneider's products, solutions, and services, and helping customers reduce their own carbon footprints
4. Support businesses with ideas, thought leadership, and strategies to accelerate decarbonization of their products, solutions, and offers
5. Drive implementation of other sustainability initiatives as needed, including regular reporting & communication. Owning the baseline.
6. Create Architecture level story for full power train , quantify advantage value in terms of CO2 and ROI for various resources
7. Define methodology / work with expert for ETO set up for equipment and switchboard level CO2 quantification.
8. To analyze New Energy Landscape to define right value prop for Sustainability and integrate in Power train architecture Sustainability roadmap

Qualifications (You can adapt)
• Bachelor's or graduate degree in environmental management, business, or engineering
• 10+ years of total work experience, including at least 5 years managing sustainability programs at a large organization
• Passionate about climate change and circular economy; strong subject-matter expertise on issues related to climate change, GHG emissions, circular economy, sustainability
• Ability to lead functionally and coach experts to upskill the community and deliver expected outcomes.
• Deep expertise in sustainability data, particularly related to GHG emissions calculations and reporting, including:
o Familiarity with a range of approaches to target-setting, including science-based targets
o Experience in conducting product carbon footprints, Life Cycle Assessments, Scope 3 carbon calculations
o Understanding of the emerging landscape related to carbon calculations, particularly related to product use and avoided emissions
• Understanding of energy management and distribution technologies and solutions
• Strong analytical skills: ability to screen and quickly absorb information on various topics from multiple sources and synthesize it to make meaningful recommendations; resilient and solutions-oriented in the face of incomplete or inconsistent information. Excited about working with numbers, building models and quantitative analyses, and setting clear and consistent methodologies
• Able to translate and communicate effectively between expert and non-expert audiences
• Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills
• Strong project management and stakeholder management and facilitation skills; able to set clear guidance and project plans, and effectively hold teams accountable to project deliverables, partnering to find solutions where needed
• Strong interpersonal skills:
o Collaborative and a team player
o Driven but balanced; thoughtful and passionate about success of the collective team
o Open-minded, active listener, understands and values others' views
o Ability to connect with people, build teams and networks, and communicate effectively with different stakeholders to bring alignment and support
