Data Project Manager

You will be part of a global project management team with over 30 project managers, reporting to the Data Portfolio Manager. The team operates within the Data Platforms organization, which includes more than 100 professionals. You specialize in managing diverse projects and programs tailored to Schneider Electric's data needs, with a focus on a wide range of business requirements that are not restricted by geography or specific technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring collaboration among members.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects stay within financial limits.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting notes.
  • Performance Tracking: Use project management tools to track progress, manage timelines, and report on key metrics.
  • Coach and develop the project teams in the project methodology as well as in key behaviors required for a successful implementation.
  • Report to senior stakeholder timely and through steerco presentations, project gate reviews etc.

Qualifications:
  • Strong project management experience (> 5 years)
  • Able to deliver project independently, without mentorship.
  • Ability to work on global projects requiring communication and co-ordination with teams in multiple locations.
  • Experience on Data Platforms/Business Intelligence related projects with functional knowledge of the technologies.
  • 5 to 8 Years' Experience delivering data and/or digital transformation projects preferable.
  • Good to have relevant project management certifications i.e. PMP or PRINCE 2 certified or SCRUM master.
  • Is experienced in delivering complex data projects including processing and data pipelines using agile methodology.
  • Has experience managing data projects, manipulating, and optimizing data mapping in a large organization.
  • Knowledge of and experience in end-to-end Data processes
  • Ability to communicate data mapping procedures and rules to non-technical partners.
  • University degree in Business Engineering or equivalent
  • Passionate about learning every day.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Relationship building skills internally and externally.
