For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $81,000 - $122,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Data Analytics Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing a comprehensive fleet management tool. This role involves monitoring fleet performance, tracking issues, managing ticket triage, and proactively escalating issues to ensure optimal fleet operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the product team, operations, and other stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and solutions that enhance fleet efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities
Fleet Management Tool Development
- Collaborate with the product team to design and develop a robust fleet management tool.
- Define and implement key metrics and dashboards to monitor fleet performance.
- Ensure the tool integrates seamlessly with existing systems and supports real-time data collection and analysis.
Fleet Monitoring & Issue Tracking
- Monitor fleet operations using advanced analytics to identify potential issues and performance trends.
- Track and document all issues, incidents, and anomalies related to fleet performance.
- Develop and maintain an issue tracking system to ensure all problems are addressed promptly.
Proactive Escalations & Problem Resolution
- Analyze fleet data to identify patterns and anticipate potential problems before they occur.
- Proactively escalate critical issues to relevant teams or stakeholders to prevent operational disruptions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to recurring issues.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform data analysis to provide actionable insights on fleet performance, usage patterns, and operational efficiencies.
- Create and present regular reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Utilize predictive analytics to forecast fleet maintenance needs and optimize resource allocation.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with product, operations, maintenance, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on the use of the fleet management tool and related processes.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience in fleet management, data analytics, or a related role.
- 1 to 2 years of experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau) is a must.
- Familiarity with fleet management systems and telematics is a plus.
