We are seeking a talented Data Analyst with a specialization in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in JDE, SAP, or 1MM and will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing MRP data to optimize inventory levels, production schedules, and supply chain efficiency.

What do you get to do in this position?
  • Analyze MRP data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely MRP data inputs.
  • Compile data and create reports that will be used to manage supply chain objectives of quality, on time delivery, cost, and compliance. •
  • Maintain supplier and part files with necessary information and maintain JDE/other database(s).
  • Take on responsibility for special projects to improve overall department effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain MRP reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the MRP system.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of MRP best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform JDE system coding and maintenance.
  • Purchase order management of assign parts
  • Daily review of maintenance reports which could include:
    • Issue Type Code mismatch
    • Missing Operations Sequence
    • Planner / Buyer code maintenance
    • Aged Open SO Report
    • Period of Supply maintenance
    • Stocking type / line type maintenance
    • Negative Balance
  • Investigate slow moving/potential obsolete material and make disposition.
  • JDE ABCD monthly analysis
  • Obsolete parts analysis

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• New parts coding and assignment.

• S&OP preparation

Qualifications

This job might be for you if:

  • College degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years in Materials or Inventory Management
  • Knowledge of computer based MRP system - JD Edwards preferred.
  • Experience building Tableau reports is a plus
  • Must have personal computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, reporting software, crystal reports.
  • Ability to read, write and develop analysis reports for all levels of management.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required
