Cybersecurity and Data Protection Coordinator

What will you do?

You will be responsible for overseeing data privacy and protection, along with aspects of cybersecurity, and play a crucial role in managing the security operations of the Schneider Digital Risk Leader (DRL) for Digital Customer Relationship (DCR). Key responsibilities include:

1. Obtain and maintain Crown Jewel certification with ownership, deadlines and progress updates

• Follow-up on the progress for crown jewels controls delivery,
• Monitor and document control delivery,
• Communicate action items to respective IT owners and ensure timely completion,

2. Support the application certification process over DCR

• Ensure data privacy and protection compliance for all critical DCR applications,
• Validate Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) as part of the certification process (support for DRL),
• Provide support in the certification process when needed,

3. Coordinate Disaster Recovery plan validation and maintain Business Continuity plans

• Validate Disaster Recovery Plans,

4. Support Data Privacy and Data Protection effort

• Provide guidance for all data privacy and protection matters,
• Maintain DCR data mapping in coordination with DCR Chief Data Officer,
• Ensure that data is properly labeled and that it is handled accordingly,
• Coordinate with the DCR data privacy champion and the governance team,

5. Coordinate Incident response effort over DCR

• Be involved in data protection incidents involving customers,
• Rework the incident response process with the SOC,

6. Support Cyber Badge

7. Coordinate with other security experts within DCR

• Coordinate with the cybersecurity analyst for DCR Architecture & Technology Enablement
• Coordinate with the security manager for DCR Platform Management

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Bachelor's degree: Business Administration or Engineer
• 5+ years' experience in any of the following areas: Strategy, Marketing, Offer Management, Internal/External Communication or Project Management
• Cybersecurity knowledge considered a plus
• Ability to work cross-functionally with a track record of achieving results
• Good knowledge of Schneider vision and business
• Self-motivated, positive, proactive, and takes the initiative to get things done
• Able to work under pressure in an ambiguous environment, being a good strategist and able to prioritize helps
• Effectively interacting with senior/executive level management
• Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
