Job Title: Customs Transformation Project Manager

Reports to: NAM Customs, Sr Manager
Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as the Customs Transformation Project Manager! In this pivotal role, you will act as the North America Customs Subject Matter Expert (SME), spearheading initiatives in manufacturing processes, cross-docking, digital, compliance, scope expansions and distribution as we face the unprecedent growth of the organization at NAM!
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Lead customs transformation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including customs officials, supply chain teams, schneider digital teams and external partners.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customs operations and compliance.
- Risk Mgmt: Assess and mitigate risks associated with customs regulations & procedures.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track project progress and prepare reports for management, highlighting key metrics and outcomes.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members on customs regulations and project methodologies.

Skills:
- Project Management: Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen Blitz, Agile, PMP).
- Customs Knowledge: Familiarity with customs regulations, compliance requirements, and international trade practices.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse teams.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of management accounting and budget control processes.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide project teams and drive results.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in international business, logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Green/Black Belt, CSCP Apics) are a plus.
- +8y previous experience in customs compliance / operations, supply chain at plant level, digital transformations or logistics is often preferred.
