Customer Project Support

Mission :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized project administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting project engineers and the wider team by coordinating material orders and deliveries, managing incoming customer purchase orders, maintaining project documentation, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. This role requires strong administrative skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to ensuring project success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support project engineers by facilitating material orders, from order placement through to delivery.
  • Track project progress and update stakeholders on key milestones, including maintenance of key project documents and trackers.
  • Communicate project updates and status reports to internal teams and external partners, including customer communications and involvement in regular internal project review meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional, international teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Sole responsibility for the management of the team's order intake inbox, including: receiving, reviewing and acknowledging incoming purchase orders; all elements of project set up; and assign project following evaluation of project engineer availability and skill set.

Skills and attributes:
  • Proven experience as a project administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies.

Education
  • Essential:
    • GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent experience
    • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Desirable: Basic Commercial and Business Management Knowledge
