Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Customer Project Specialist, Associate
supporting our Power Systems Business

Location: remote in U.S.

Project team member with capabilities to manage small projects and support project management tasks and activities within a business unit. This role provides support the complete order process and documentation from purchase order conversion, supports the equipment approval process, through manufacturing release, product shipment, post-shipment support, and financial invoicing utilizing a base knowledge of low voltage Schneider Electric product offers and their uses. Customer focus internally and externally by working with Project Managers in medium and high complex projects.

What will you do?
  • Work with the appointed Project Manager (complex projects) or Sales (simple projects) to ensure a complete understanding of the order and equipment engineering requirements at order handoff
  • Maintains and manage system of record to keep schedules, cost and scope up to date
  • Coordinate with PM and internal resources across business units as needed to complete deliverables (Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Schedulers and other support functions) to complete deliverables or actions
  • Creates and manages change orders, claims, customer complaints and any non-technical project needs or after technical validation is completed by support functions
  • Help to define, refine and improve internal processes

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated individual who relentlessly identifies and fills gaps with a strong technical ability, a willingness to learn and excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • four-year engineering degree in ME/EE/IE
  • Possess basic technical aptitude for managing Standard/CTO/ETO Equipment and Packages Projects
  • Have highly organizational skills
  • Looking for an entry or basic level of project management
  • Can efficiently manage Solution Fast Track Project types.
  • Have strong communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills
  • Implement time management skills: multi-tasking, planning, prioritizing and organizing projects
  • Uses standard business application software such as the Microsoft Office
