We are looking for an experienced Customer Project Senior Technical Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as the key technical reference, leading complex integrated solutions and ensuring alignment with customer requirements. This role involves coordinating project stakeholders, managing technical risks, and driving strategic decisions to deliver high-quality solutions in an international, multi-site environment.

Missions

As part of a project team:
  • Act as the leader of complex technical integrated solutions and be the single point of contact regarding all project technical topics.
  • Make sure our solution answer to customer requirements in compliance with the contract.
  • Lead a technical team composed of "customer project technical engineers" and ensure technical coordination of all project's stakeholders.
  • Coordinate all technical solutions of complex integrated projects.
  • Master technical risks of the overall technical solution designed and delivered.


Scope and Environment
  • Part of a customer project execution/application center.
  • Project teams located spread among several sites/countries, requiring international collaboration with other functional teams/stakeholders.


Key Activities and Responsibilities

Technical team coordination & management:
  • Be accountable of the technical solution, in line with customer requirements and project strategy.
  • Make sure the project technical team is aligned with the project strategy.
  • Be accountable of the overall technical budget and planning of the project.
  • Facilitate & prioritize all technical activities with factories or suppliers.


Technical coordination of project stakeholders:
  • Work in close collaboration with Project Director
  • Act as a single point of contact for all project stakeholders (including customers) regarding the technical strategy and major technical decisions of the project.
  • Ensure good communication with the project team regarding technical decisions and strategy of the project


Risk & Opportunity management, Change management, Alert:
  • Master the technical risks & opportunities of the project
  • Conduct change management with the Project Director
  • Work closely with Project Director to present and negociate major changes implications for Schneider Electric until getting a variation order;
  • Alert Project Director and Management of any issue that could affect the project performance or customer satisfaction.


Customer interactions:
  • Lead technical strategy in line with customer.
  • Take the proper technical decision to ensure project interest and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the key and trusty contact person for all technical topics related to the project.


Quality process, Methods, Tools:
  • Be accountable that project is following Schneider Electric processes


Community of practices & Coaching:
  • Act as role model and/or coach technical principal engineers.
  • Be connected with LoBs and Schneider Electric Management to ensure good communication & knowledge of project technical challenges and decisions.

Education:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Management

Languages:
  • Fluent English
  • Other languages are a plus.

Experience:
  • 10 years in leading full technical scope of large & international customer projects.
  • Technical experience in Oil&Gas and Data Center segments or in a customer application/process is a plus.


Skills:
  • Ability to think out of the box and take decisions in complex and risky context.
  • Ability to communicate (written, verbal) clearly in concise and synthetic manner on complex technical strategy.
  • Ability to lead with agility in a complex & matrix environment.
  • Ability to convince stakeholders on the proper project technical strategy
  • Ability to learn from others, share her/his knowledge, coach others and collaborate efficiently.
  • Ability to manage projects that located in different places, with different local regulations, different suppliers.
