CUSTOMER PROJECT PLANNER

As part of a project team, your responsibilities would include:
Managing the project schedule from initiation to project closure, for simple to average projects.
Acting as the local point of contact for the project manager and customer.
Coordinating project scheduling deliverables and exchanges with stakeholders and customers.
Sharing the project planning through the designated portal(s).
Managing regular reporting to the Project Manager and Technical Leaders regarding the produced and validated planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

During the Selling phase, your tasks would include:
Attending orientation meetings with key communication channels to align on all project aspects.

Studying and analyzing the provided project inputs.
Consulting with subject matter experts for clarification on ambiguous parts of the project.
Organizing workshops with the tender manager and each key stakeholder independently to develop their scope in the schedule.
Organizing coordination meetings to integrate different perspectives of key stakeholders, including internal and external suppliers, and incorporating dependencies among project packages in the schedule.
Suggesting different scheduling scenarios to optimize the project work plan.
Performing quality checks on planning deliverables once they are completed.
Assisting the Tender Manager in Project Risk Analysis.
Preparing the Tender Schedule or High-level project plan and revising it as per additional requirements.

During the Initiate & Set-up stage, your tasks would include:
Participating in orientation meetings with key communication channels to align on all project aspects.
Studying and analyzing the provided project inputs.
Consulting with subject matter experts for clarification on ambiguous parts of the project.
Organizing workshops with project managers and each key stakeholder independently to develop their scope in the schedule.
Organizing coordination meetings to integrate different perspectives of key stakeholders, including internal and external suppliers, and including dependencies among project packages in the schedule.
Suggesting different scheduling scenarios to optimize the project work plan.
Organizing meetings with the customer planner to understand their requirements and present planning outputs to them once completed.
Performing quality checks on planning deliverables once they are completed.
Proposing a Schedule Management Plan.
Preparing the Baseline Schedule.
Suggesting a progress report template to be submitted by suppliers and to the customer, along with related processes.
Assisting the Project Manager in elaborating the baseline resource plan.

During the Monitor & Control stage, your tasks would include:
Updating the schedule and providing foresight to the project team regarding newly projected finish dates.
Analyzing the updated schedule and overseeing schedule dependencies among different project packages to alert the project team about forecasted schedule risks or delays and ensure internal alignment among key project members.
Overseeing subcontractors' progress, analyzing their performance, and ensuring they adhere to their work plans.
Tracking and highlighting areas of delays in the schedule to facilitate the corrective actions process.
Assisting in preparing Progress Reports to be submitted to the customer and Schneider Electric top management.
Recording project obstacles in progress reports to justify delays demonstrated in the schedule.
Assisting the Project Manager in Project Risk Analysis.
Proposing and assisting in creating mitigation plans to avoid project delays and enhance project performance.
Assisting in extension of time claims by drafting delays analysis reports, calculating the impact of delays on the project schedule.

During the Integrated Change Control stage, your tasks would include:
Gathering and providing elements for Change Orders, including conducting time impact analysis.
Assisting the project manager in updating the project resource plan to accommodate changes.
Managing the baseline according to the initial contract and signed change orders, and revising the current schedule accordingly.

During the Close stage, your tasks would include:
Assisting the Project Manager in updating the Lessons Learned Register from a planning and scheduling perspective. This involves capturing insights and best practices related to the planning and scheduling processes used in the project.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

University degree (Engineering or Business)
PMP-A certificate or commensurate experience

Language

English fluency is a must

Another language will be valuable

Experience

Minimum 1year in being par of a project team

Experience in working in a plant is a plus

Experience in engineering is a plus

Skills requirements

Highly organized

High attention to detail

Strong analytical skills

Problem-solving skills

Great communication skills

Understanding of projects

Good knowledge of the CPP process

Comfortable with new integrated digital tools for improved work efficiency
