Cooling FSR

Purpose of Job:

To perform installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair services for Schneider's range of cooling and refrigeration product lines, which includes chillers, condensers, CRAC, and In Row Products, the candidate will be expected to be familiar with all aspects of the refrigeration system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide outstanding Customer service.

- Installation: Typically, this will be overseeing a team of subcontractors and ensuring their work is compatible with Schneider Electric's specification. There will be occasions when the candidate will be expected to perform an installation service.

- Commissioning: The candidate must be prepared to commission a complete system.

- Maintenance / Repair: The candidate will be expected to complete planned and unscheduled maintenance on the Schneider Electric product range.

- Seek business opportunities at all times to promote the business growth.

- Advise customers on best practice, new services, and upgrade opportunities.

- 24x7 on Call: The candidate will need to be prepared to attend customer sites at short notice to perform diagnosis and repairs.

Candidate:

The candidate will be part of a team reporting to the Secure Power Manager and will be required to travel to the customer site to perform their tasks, the applicant must be willing to travel and stay away from home from time to time - depending on the location and duration of works. As the Schneider Electric installed base will need to be supported countrywide.

The candidate must be familiar with working in critical and secure data environments.

The candidate must have good communication skills as they will be interacting with a wide range of people from company directors to other engineering personnel.

Skills Required:
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.
  • Familiarization in preparing MOPs and RAMS the candidate must be able to adapt and write guidelines of approved Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Verifiable hands-on technical work experience required
  • Certification needed according to Business and Country where he is operating (a minimum of professional HVAC qualifications).
  • Applicants must hold a Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.( Certificates to be provided)
  • Applicants must hold F-Gas certification.( Certificates to be provided)
  • Product specific training will be provided at Schneider Electric's training centre in Italy; the candidate must be able and willing to travel to this location for up to two weeks at a time.
  • Experience of the soft configuration of HVAC products.
  • Must be able to perform duties receiving only general guidance with respect to overall objectives.
  • Must comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate (speak and hear) effectively to various intellectual levels.
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
