The tendering manager's mission is to efficiently and effectively prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals in response to customer requirements and invitations to tender.
Their role involves analyzing tender documents, coordinating with various internal stakeholders, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that proposals align with the company's capabilities and strategic objectives. Their goal is to win new business while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
What will you do?
The Tendering manager will be part of our Australian solution center located accross Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
The main missions will be leading the overall tendering process (As per Schneider Customer Project process) for complex Power System MV/LV solutions. This includes (Not limited to):
- Reviewing project/Customer requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals,
- Coordinating with various stakeholders (Factories, legal, Supply chain ... etc),
- Conducting risk assessments,
- Proposing the most optimized offer, technically, financially and logistically.
- Transferring properly the projects into execution phase,
- Participating sometimes in negotiations and contributing to the overall project strategy,
- Maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Targeted technical knowledge => Low and Medium voltage equipment, Transformers, Switchroom (eHouse)
- Targeted commercial knowledge => Incoterms, Common legal clauses, Contractual best practices.
- Targeted soft skills => High level of leadership, Structured/organized, Pragmatic, Proactive.
- Targeted values/behaviours => Team player, Open minded, Customer oriented, curious.
