Our diverse Services business provides 24/7 servicing for: hospitals, utilities, data centres, support for the resources sector and just about everything in-between. Our Schneider Electric portfolio covers UPS, critical cooling equipment, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, substation monitoring as well as a wide range of ancillary equipment. We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.
The Opportunity
Come and join our growing Services operations in the newly created role of Consulting Sales Specialist. Collaborating with a variety of passionate technical specialists across Schneider, you will engage with our Customers, End Users and get the opportunity to be out in the field through site visits and other related activities that leverage your passion for all things technical!
With a mix of on-site and remote consulting, you will oversee the delivery of an expanding range of Schneider offers and be hands-on across; quotations, audits, assessments, studies, tender submissions, sales support and other projects that are expanding as a result of our ongoing growth and success.

This diverse role involves the following key responsibilities:
- Driving success for diverse Consulting offers across; LV/MV, industrial automation, UPS and Cooling, Digital Power and Power Monitoring, life cycle install base assessments, modernisation recommendations, Arc Flash Assessments and Electrical Digital Twin
- Supporting sales growth and market success across both new and existing Customers, expanding Consulting Services and recurring Contracts
- Acting as a key point of contact to support Customer requirements, utilising your specialist technical background to modernise assets and provide technical solutions
- Proactively fostering stakeholder relationships and other key partnerships, playing a lead hands-on role with Customers to understand needs and ensure success
- Leveraging our combined expertise as you utilise data, analytics and various new tools within an increasingly digital landscape
- Regular travel across Australia and New Zealand as required
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary Engineering qualifications in Electrical or Electronics
- Previous success and experience in a similar Sales or Consulting role
- Depth of relevant technical knowledge based on the listed key responsibilities
- Experienced in Customer facing tasks and confident in collaborating with varied stakeholder groups
- Those with a background in the Electrical industry and / or with specific knowledge or experience will be viewed favourably (MV, Power Quality, Power Systems, Energy Management etc.)
