For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000 - $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Complex Order Services Specialist, US Services

As a part of the Order Services evolution, we are looking at a continued evolution to our order entry and conversion teams. This team will be responsible for managing any day-to-day sales to execution handoffs of all new open

services-led orders. The team will support and maintain those orders as well as their validity and lead them through the process of order handoff from the sales teams, through the booking of the customer revenue order, and ensure they manage the procurement of any material tied to those orders, as well as work-order enrichment. They will also be supporting any requests for PO's within the scope of booking rules for any orders that are labeled high complexity orders by the global categorization teams.

  • The new team will be initially composed of a blended mix of order entry specialists and order conversion specialists for a phased approach during which the supervisor will manage the functions as a fighting team, whilst training and upskilling team members to be able to manage functionally the full E2E scope.
  • The supervisor will manage direct reports for the functions outlined above on newly developed complex Power Services


What will you do?
  • Manage the front-to-end scope of order booking from order conversion to order entry for Power Complex Orders.
  • Processing from sales order handoff through to the conversion of the relevant order into the order entry functions with WO creation, modification, enrichment and placement of any and all IP and external purchases for the team finalizing at handoff to execution teams.
  • In new orders manage the appropriate minimum viable requirements and coordination of quality metrics as lagging indicators for quality from sales handoff as it relates to the full scope from sales handoff to execution.
  • Communicate directly with internal customers, AMs, Sales Reps, Field Service, and other cross functional departments to ensure accuracy in orders and to answer general questions regarding services and order status.
  • Develop and maintain follow up with appropriate operations groups and correct any post conversion issues as necessary. Be able to prioritize and ensure proper acknowledgement and response timeline is followed for the scope of order processing.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Product is essential and beneficial to ensure accuracy in order flows but is not a requirement to apply.
  • Requires basic knowledge on sourcing of materials and how/where to accurately place orders with supply bases
  • Intermittently work on setting up new customer accounts; acts accordingly to ensure compliance of subcontractors and suppliers are set up following SE standards and guidelines.
  • Monitor individual backlog by checking pending orders to ensure timely and accurate entry of all orders
  • Identify and communicate possible changes to process and procedures to ensure best practices.
  • Responsible for managing their personal case queue but also supporting concerns and questions fielded to other case queues
  • Available and flexible in scope of communication and training between variable teams and scopes.
  • Complete work order enrichment and procurement of material required for interplant ordering through the districts.
  • Accept, Process, Correct, and Prepare the order hand off package for our sales and operations team.
  • Manage the appropriate minimum viable requirements and coordination of quality metrics as lagging indicators for quality from sales handoff as it relates to the full scope from sales handoff to execution.
  • Manage the quality of order handoff from the new blended team through to execution.
  • Manage order hand off process between sales and operations to ensure proper execution of services projects.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with interdepartmental teams on project scopes including but not limited to quotations groups, sales groups, operations and execution groups.
  • Must possess the ability to interpret customer requirements/scope, match products and services to the provide quote documents and order handoff information to ensure effective and accurate entry of every order.
  • Recommend new improvements on the order life cycle and help with the strategy of building the new organization and ensuring close and consistent collaboration with the entire order services organization and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure appropriate teamwork and collaboration between the three new teams and their scopes.
  • You will be working closely and collaborating with the Continuous Improvement and Program Leaders in Power to ensure a successful implementation of the newly blended scope and work.
  • Execute order administration functions to perform order processing transactions such as order entry, modifications, incompletion log thru Oracle, BFO, SEA, S4, SAP ECC.
  • Manage and administers Service Contracts and related activities.
  • Take ownership of all orders and ensure administrative support is carried out.
  • Available and flexible in scope of communication and training between variable teams and scopes.
  • Manage any types of complex questions for the scope of order services on PS led orders whether they are service or NSF led.
  • Additional responsibilities include filing and continuous cross-training and uptraining in all forms of order-entry.
  • As this is a new portion of the organization, the scopes and understandings are still in process of being developed, meaning some of the tasks and daily functions could be revised in scope.
  • Will occasionally troubleshoot Order Flows to accommodate compliance with standard order entry practices.
  • Will have a hand in the development and maintenance of documentation associated Playbooks and SE's Booking Rules as it pertains to existing and new offers

What will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
  • Strongly Preferred candidate will have knowledge of electrical distribution products and services.
  • Experience in BFO, SEA, Q2C, and BFS or SAP. Oracle, a plus.
  • Knowledge and background in Lean Six Sigma processes and process improvement.
  • Project Manager experience a plus, and a successful background in leading transformations across organizations.
  • Supply Chain design a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with good time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to effectively utilize company software programs/collaborative tools and have the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Interest in taking on leadership responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
