Roles & mission
§ Successfully manage multi-domain teams (L.V Products & L.V Equipment) to meet segment-specific needs and work to help technology-driven companies to scale up their capabilities in the field of electrical distribution.
§ As a chapter leader of architects group, provide applied engineering and technical consultation.
- For customers in the areas of power studies, power quality analysis, Short-Circuit, LV Protective Device Coordination, Arc-Flash studies, Grounding, installation, maintenance, and training.
- For project teams in the areas of circuit breaker arc modelling, arc retrogression / filtering, gas dynamics, electromagnetism, electrical contacts, contact materials, contact dynamics / repulsion etc.

§ Spearhead the business unit roadmaps with specifications (operational, functional, and technical) of differentiating segment offers, supervise the Offer Creation Process related to electro-mechanical offer domain.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to define and promote the unique customer value propositions for the segment.
- Strategize the technical discussions with customers to capture actual and future application needs and to spearhead the technology road map for the business unit.
- Liaise technology innovation by experimentations with customers and new generation architectures investigations in the L.V product domain.
- lead in depth customer understanding and to leverage the experience in the targeted segment leading to a good knowledge of customer vocabulary, pain-points, expectations, and deliverables.
- Ensure product compliance to global design standards like IEC, NEMA or any other regional standards.
- Spearhead the design capability of circuit protection devices like MCCB, ACB, Switch Disconnectors which includes complete system / component sizing, modeling, simulation, and relevant technical documentations.
- Modify existing products to support customer, manufacturing, applicable regulatory and industry standard, and market requirement through change management process.
- Strong system architecture methodology mindset, starting from customer need identification and to share learning experience with the global / local solution architects' community.
Professional Experience
§ Candidates possessing electro-mechanical domain expertise in L.V products & equipment with proven track record in R&D, engineering, certification, and solution architecture.
§ Knowledge of consultative practice, design, implementation of engineered solutions and resource optimization through innovation combined with a strong technical skill set and business savvy.
§ +15 years' Experience in leading program/ project through all stages of the product development cycle of circuit breaker / switch disconnectors / switchboard (PCC/MCC) / busways etc.
§ Strong technical knowledge on materials, structural, thermal, short circuit calculations, and physical testing.
§ Good understanding of relevant switchgear standards and how they apply to the product - IEC60947 series & IEC61439 series.
